I was 349 pounds pre surgery and had to lose at least 30 pounds before surgery. At surgery time I was down to 309. I had the gastric RNXY bypass. I had some post p complications with paralytic ileus and hospitalization three times in first year for bowel obstructions. My lowest weight was 198 and now at 246 and on a GLP 1 med since January 2026.

It’s a slow process—you have lost 100 lbs. Focus on slow progress. Set realistic goals. Focus on how you feel rather than pounds.
