A stall is defined as “2-3 weeks with no weight loss.” You are not in a stall. Why are you weighing yourself every day? It is not recommended by doctors or dietitians. It creates self sabotage. This article explains why:But since starting the puree, my weightloss has stalled. Is this my body just reassessing what's happening or should I go back to liquids. 2 days at the same weight.
Thank you so much!Your body is going thru HUGE changes, so you will notice this cycle of losing, and short plateau as you go along. I thought of it as a way for your body to take a breath and get its bearings before it forges ahead. Focus on the long game - good habits and staying on plan will over time take you to your goal, even with these plateaus along the way.
My friend and I gained on week 3. I gained 3lbs and she gained 5. The very next week it was all gone PLUS we lost some extra lol… weird how that one worked out but my doctor told me that this happens frequently as you add in new foods.Hi All, Yesterday marked 3 weeks post op. I am in my 2nd week of pureed food. But since starting the puree, my weightloss has stalled. Please please please do not weigh yourself more than once weekly. I weigh myself only on Mondays, then record my week's weight loss AND my total weight loss to keep everything in perspective.Hi All, Yesterday marked 3 weeks post op. You probably won't lose exactly the same amount each week, and you might speed up or slow down bc of gas, water, bloating, the moon is full, the stars are out of alignment, etc. Seriously, weight loss is not exactly according to calories in, exercise amounts, etc.
As long as you get 64-80ozs of water and 60+gs of protein daily, along with regular exercise/movement, weight loss will occur and continue. Please trust the process. You've got this!!! ❤❤
