Hi
My name is Michelle I had gastric sleeve on 2/17/2025, down 110 pds & married at 55 years old.
I had some bad depression started month 6 but I got through it.
I feel amazing, want to experience life and have more self confidence than I had my whole life.
My husband not so much. He's basically married to his job.
Should I just start doing things without him?
I feel like he is almost jealous of my achievements.
Anyone experience this?

I say find something you want to do and go for it! Maybe after he sees you making changes and doing new activities he will join you. If you wait for him, then you could miss the opportuninty to do something you really would have enjoyed.

This past weekend I had an adventure by myself. We have a great shopping area surrounding a lake with a boardwalk and tons of restaurants. The weather was great and I wanted to go with a friend but no one was available. I did it anyway and I'm glad I did. I might make it a regular thing!
