I, too, had a NSV this week. As many of you know, besides knowing that the surgery would lead to a healthier life, my main reason was to reduce the amount of RX's I take each day. This week I had an appointment with my primary Dr to go over the blood test I took last week. He was extremely pleased with the results and went over each of the Rx's that I take. (While in the Hospital, after my surgery, I was taken off Metformin, for pre-diatetes and two other Rx's and all over the counter vitamins and supplements). My Doctor took me off of one of my blood pressure pills, my cholesterol pill, and the one for triglycerides. He said that he wants me to have another blood test after the Holidays to check my numbers. Also, if after losing more weight, I begin feeling dizzy or lightheaded to call him and he'll reduce the blood pressure pill to a lower dose. I am taking chewable vitamins 4 times each day, suggested by the nutrictionist and since I wasn't low in anything, I know that they are working, too. I am thrilled!!
