Omg gas

I am 3 weeks out today. Getting better everyday until last night. The dreaded gas attack rose its ugly head. Thought I was gonna die. All the gas they pump in you is there a trick to some relief. I am still uncomfortable but not as bad.

Gas-X works for me. But I didn't know they pumped gas into your abdomen for laparoscopic surgery. Is that what you had? I know there's some kind of fluid, or maybe it was gas, they put when they did my open procedure. In any event, when you have gas in your body, it seeps out through your skin. I remember how badly my arms hurt, since they did an open surgical procedure on me 15 years ago. There has to be some kind of air left behind, and it has to get out of your body somehow. Anyone else experience what Karen did?
