Post op diet Blahs

You're in the home stretch now. It will get much better once you have surgery - then the real fun starts! You can do this! It's an awesome adventure ride!
 
You're so close! Pre-op diet sucks. Calories are basically energy and you've drastically cut down the fuel that your body is used to having in excess. You're going to be tired and actually, BLAH covers it pretty well I think lol I have no suggestions, as there really isn't much you can do except power through. It's worth it. It takes time and effort, but this is the best thing you've ever done for yourself. Hang in there!!
 
The first week of the pre op diet was the worst for me. I had a headache every day and was hungry all the time. Pickles and jello were my best friend for free foods! Then the second week hit. The sugar and carb withdrawal was gone and I had more energy without the constant headache. I also wasn't as hungry as before. You got this! Take it one day at a time and it does get better.
 
This early post op, it should be pretty easy to tell if you're eating too much, as it will make you sick. Follow the instructions of your team and listen to your body. And please remember the key to success is more about what you eat; less about how much.

Wow, so Friday is the big day? I'm happy for you. I'm sure you are excited to get through these few days. Best of luck before, during, and after surgery. ❤❤
 
Its going pretty good. Just getting very anxious. Surgery in 3 days!!

It's hard not to be nervous. It's a big change. But you are going to feel so much better. I have struggled and still sometimes struggle but it was 1000% worth it and I do not regret it at all. Hang in there! You'll do great.
