I'm an over achiever. I had the Sleeve done in 2018, lost 50 lbs, and was starving all the time. So rather than use this incredible tool I was given, I slowly packed on the weight over the years.
Today, I'm back up to where I was 8 years ago. And wiser, well, and wider. My RNY is literally days away, and I'm excited, scared, and greatful. I now know the gift of the liquid stage, the soft stage, etc. Yes, I will eventually get back to "real" food. But I will need to live in the moment, instead of whine about what I can't have. Scared, oh the gas pain those first few days. And, drink my little medicine cup of liquid I will. I want to give my body the health it deserves, the weight God intended for me. This surgery is just a tool. I get that now. Let's do this! Who's with me?!

That made a lot of sense what you said. I'm able to eat everything. But obviously shouldn't be even if it's small. And I drink carbonated beverage, I think I'll get that up. I don't know if it's too late just to go on the liquid diet but I have a feeling my stomach is stretch from the very beginning. Will be praying for you as you go through your surgery

I love your attitude! It sounds like you've done a lot of honest reflection and are heading into this revision with a very different mindset than before. You are focusing on what you can do rather than what you can't have.

Wishing you a smooth surgery and recovery. You've got a whole group of people here cheering you on!
