Roun-en-Y gastric Bypass surgery

I am 10 weeks post-op. I burp at least 10-20 times after every swallow of food, and drink of water. I pace and burp all day. I am very upset. I can't go to a meeting or visit friends because of the burping. Anyone have advice? I had a barium upper GI and endoscopy, which the doctor says look great.

I do a lot of burping throughout the day but I wouldn't say I do after every bite. I never did a lot of burping before WLS. But yours sounds pretty extreme. Are you encouraging the burping? I don't know how else to phrase that, but I sometimes catch myself swallow air, then burping. I do that a lot in the morning when I first wake up and I have no idea why I do it.

Was it your surgeon that ordered the testing done? Might be good to get a second opinion. It's clear that this is bothering you and I hope you can get some answers as to what is going on.
