S/P RYGB. Medication absorption thoughts problems. Did anyones medications need adjusted?

My dr wanted as many medications as chewable not necessarily gummy

I’m sorry…. medical abbreviation S/P is Status Post

I was only taking thyroid hormone so that was easily adjusted with a few months of blood draws. But you should ask your doc, because this is a real concern and nothing to mess with.

My follow up appt is Friday I def will ask. I too take synthroid but my main concern was my prozac.

Check with your phar.icist. they're best Ble to tell you. I hVe 3 crush able and 2 capsules, so imlucky. The Dr said it would be trickier if I had a.xr drug (extended rease)
