Hi, I had surgery 3 weeks ago, and I didn't loose weight for the first few days either. I think my body was in shock from the surgery so it hung onto the weight that I had. By the 4th day I noticed I had lost a couple of lbs, then gradually lost more most days since then. I also had difficulty taking in fluids to begin with. I was very sick on my first two days and couldn't drink any water, even just rinsing my mouth with water was enough to start dry heaving. My second day post op I was only able to eat a few spoonfuls of the pudding I was given in the hospital and a couple of ounces of water. It does get better, and it will get easier once you adjust to the changes. I wish you all the best for your success.i am 2 days post surgery and started to browse this site. I am having hard time getting liquids down and walking in heat is unbearable. I am reading about such little weight loss. I hope I did not do this for nothing. I need lots of positive support pleade
