I just had gastric bypass 3 days ago. And my luck I got my period,,, any other ladies struggle with this? Every time I drink liquids and get stuff down I have diarrhea, I’m nervous I’m gonna get terribly dehydrated. Does anyone have any tips???

I started my period a few days after my surgery too! It sucked but mine are light and only last a few days, so not horrible.
I also had diarrhea for about the first week after surgery, since then I have been more regular/normal than I have my entire adult life!

Try eating popsicles every day they are refreshing and hydrate you❤️ sugar free of course

I didn't because I was on birth control but be prepared for it to likely be off for at least a few months or more.

With rapid weight loss it can mess with your cycle.
You have to stop BC because most of the pills are estrogen based and estrogen increases your risks of developing blood clots. They have estrogen free birth control. I switched to a non-estrogen based BC 3 months before and after surgery per my surgeons requirements.

Usually yes, but I did not have too.
