Hi everyone sorry it took me so long to introduce myself I wanted to do so when I first joined. My name is Brenda but most of my friends call me Bree or Bren. Take your pick
I had my surgery on the 21st of this month and I came home on the 22nd I did really good my doctor said that it everything went perfect and he and my nurses were very pleased with how well I was coming along I had to walk 15 laps before I was allowed to leave the hospital and I had 18 laps by 4:00 p.m. the day that I had the surgery but by time I left I had 28 laps so doing really good.
It seems like I've always had some sort of issue with my weight most times it was because I gained weight because of medications for bipolar disorder )I was diagnosed with that back in 1987. ) However this last time that I was prescribed some medications for it I gained like 50 lb in the first 4 months of being on this medication and I just could not seem to get rid of the extra weight no matter what I did. My doctor and I worked together he couldn't figure out why I was continuously gaining weight as well I just had a hard time losing it I guess maybe because I'm fixing to hit 50 here soon and we don't lose weight as quickly as we used to when we were in your 20s You know what I mean? I'm so glad that he had me see a bariatric surgeon for a consult before my weight got way too out of control. Well it was out of control as it was but you know what I mean.
My only issue though however is I have a couple of rashes they're not at the incision sites there's one on my left rib cage upper rib cage and then there's one on my right side directly underneath of my breast it kind of like follows the curve of the breast and then there's a couple tiny little pinpoint dots that are also itchy like crazy but they are not on the incision site and I was wondering if any of y'all had the same thing and if you did what was it?
Thanks for any replies and I am so looking forward to getting to know y'all!
