Starting my journey

Hi Everyone!

I am getting ready to start my journey. I had to wait a year since starting my health insurance before I could be covered for surgery. I will be eligible as of September 1, and I have an alert on my phone to make my phone call.

I am here seeking guidance and support. I hear nothing but great things from the people that underwent the surgery. I have battled obesity since I was a kid, so my doctor said that this is the best path for me since I am fighting a battle with my genes as my PCP puts it.

Welcome! Glad you found the group. Everyone here is at all different stages of the journey. I have 2 appointments left before my info is sent to my insurance for approval. I’m to the, let’s get this over with already!, stage LOL Which surgery are you having?
