all done and I'm checking out to head home in a bit. I dont remember any off it after..."we are going to strap your arms down in a bit"

After that I woke up in recover. Thankfully I did not get sick from all the surgery meds like I did with my csections. I did however throw up the gabapention so that pain med is a no go and will be happy when i can switch to pill tylonal because i come close to throwing that up all the time.

Doctor stated it went as near as perfect that he could had hoped for and was even impressed with how little scar tissue I had from my 2 csections.

Now to keep building up the fluids and knock the pain down. It hurts to swallow do its a bit difficult.

Congratulations on a successful surgery. Keep the fluids up, the protein up and the calories down and the weight will fall off you!!
Still working on fluids. The most i have been able to get is 40 with all the other liquid food on top of it.

Heading into the doc tomorrow to make sure I dont have a throat infection from being intubated. Throat is still really sore and shooting into my ear.

Still having some cramping in my chest when swallowing too, its improved but still slowing me down a bit.

However in the last 3 weeks-2 pre surgery and 1 post I have dropped 20 pounds so thats good. Got my food to almost 1 shake so far today plus somewhere between 1/4-1/3 cup soap and a quarter of a prepackaged contain of applesauce.

Sorry to hear about your throat. Mine was pretty sore but it got better after a couple of days. Let's hope it's not an infection.

You sound like you're doing just great on your post-op diet. Glad you're doing so well.
Nothing wrong with the throat, just have to give it more time. They also checked my electrolytes since I'm not doing as much water.
