The time has come...

I've been waiting to get this surgery since January of 2023. Some kinda way my file got moved around and I just basically fell through the cracks, as they say. But after reaching out and getting through all the pre-op visits, I am finally scheduled to have my sleeve surgery on October 28th, 2025. So yep, I start my "full liquids" pre-op on Tuesday. I'm excited, and also kinda scared of the change. But I know my body absolutely needs this change. I figure I've had 50+ years if eating any and everything my lil tastebuds desired, and have paid the price for it. So, fingers crossed that everything turns out well, and this new chapter in my life helps to put me on the path of a healthier, more active and pain free lifestyle. Peace and Love!

Back at ya! I envy your current state, which I remember so well as being a thrilling time in my life. You have so much joy ahead of you.

Change is thought to be the major stressor in people's lives. But I think because it has so much power, it can also be the most intense, wonderful experience we can feel.
