Hi everyone, First time on. In my third week and it seems that when I weigh myself in the morning I've lost 3 pounds and by the end I gain it back. What am I doing wrong
 
Hi Tulip, Ok, I'm assuming that you are weighing yourself twice a day? Once in the morning and once in the evening. If so STOP!!! Weigh in at the same time each day, if you must weigh in each day. I would suggest weighing in once a week at most, because during the course of the day, your weight is going to fluctuate based on what you ate or drank. Do not obsess about what the scale shows, just make sure you are getting your protein and water in. That is the most important. I hit a plateau at about the two month mark and for a month I wasn't losing any weight. It wasn't until about day 25 of not losing that I realized I had lost approx 4 1/2 inches off my waist, that I realized it was working. So please step on the scale once a week, in the morning and measure yourself, then use that to determine your progress. You'll definitely see progress, as long as you are on the WLS path.

I agree with Frank. Trust the program, Get in your protein and water. Follow your menus. Weigh and measure about once a week ONLY. You can gain 3 pounds overnight believe it or not and not have done anything wrong. Also get in your exercise every day. Good luck as you continue. It looks like you lost 30 pounds in three weeks, can't do much better than that and your body may need to just catch up. Follow the program and the weight will come off, it won't always be ten pounds a week.
 
If you are following your program you have nothing to worry about. Keep your expectations in check and don't drive yourself crazy with the scale. You are on this journey for the rest of your life so relax and smell the flowers.
