Waiting for approval and to schedule surgery date

After long 6 months of exercising and keeping food logs, I’m nearing the finish line. Now, I’m just waiting for the approval from insurance and to setup a surgery date. Fingers crossed

Mine was just submitted today to my insurance. Most likely my surgery will be in February 2018 sometime. Starting to see the end of the tunnel, the light is bright! I am starting to get excited and nervous at the same time and I am really doing this now. I know the time will fly pass.

Three months into six month insurance mandated supervised program. Looking forward to surgery in April or May. I’m anxious and a bit nervous.

I just got surgery date of Jan. 29, 2018. Now will be starting liquid diet on Monday Jan. 15. I am a little worried about this part but I will get it done. Worried about headaches, and hunger pains.

Congrats! You've got this! I thought I would have hunger pains as well, however the constant liquid protein kept me full and I had no complaints. Energy levels were good too, I was able to work up until the day of the surgery. Unflavored protein powder is amazing for soups and broths to help get you where you need to be. I am in the same boat your in. I have met all requirements , I am just waiting for approval for insurance and surgery date. I have bought up vitamins, pajamas, chicken broth, different kinds of protein shakes, plenty of water, etc.
