It's been 10 years since my surgery. Reached my goal weight within a year. I was at that weight up until a year ago. Slowly started adding weight. Gained 4 lost 2. Joined WW when I Reached 189 pounds. Did really well but have been stuck in the 175 area for months. Nothing has changed but I can't seem to lose that last 20 pounds. It's very discouraging. Everyone says I look fine but I don't feel fine. Thanks for getting me vent.

Congratulations on your weight loss. Reaching your goal and staying there for nearly a decade is an incredible accomplishment!

I understand how you feel. I was stuck at 188 -190 lbs for about a year and a half. The scale would not budge no matter how I increased my exercise or managed what I ate. Sometimes those last pounds can be the most frustrating, especially when you're doing the same things that worked before and the scale just won't cooperate.

It was recommended that I try a bariatric reset and I don't know if those 3 weeks on such a restricted diet was the sole cause or if my body was just finally ready to start losing weight again, but the scale finally started moving. I am still working to lose the last of that 60 lbs and it has been a year and a half. It''s a very slow progress as weeks will go by and my weight doesn't change, but I keep sticking with it.

Hang in there. Sometimes progress isn't as fast as we'd like, but your success over the last 10 years shows that you have the tools and determination to keep moving in the right direction.
