I'd like to thank all of the long-term members of this group who stay active, long after their own surgeries to help guide and support us through our WLS journeys.

Some of these members are fighting their own battles, but still find time to come and greet new people, answer questions, encourage us newbies and help us find our way.

Actually, they don't deserve a round of applause. They deserve a HUGE standing ovation. Thanks again for you selfless contributions to our lives, they are so very much appreciated.

I’m really tired because I though that said round of applesauce Thanks Kathi! This is a great group to be part of. I tell everyone I meet who’s had WLS about this group and how wonderful it is to be in a supportive community.

LMAO @ applesauce!! I needed that. I agree that this is a great group. But rounds of applesauce for the new people too. You bring your own fresh perspectives and remind those of us who are further out of why we did this and how far we've actually come.

So true! Everyone brings something here. It really is an amazing group!

Never been fan of applesauce, but I can say I have learned so much here, I would not trade it for anything. I do feel the long timers honor us with their experience and knowledge. On the other had I did pick three apples from my tree today. Cut up one of them and cut off brown spots looking for worms. It is fun seeing the ones squirrels have picked and thrown down on the ground with several bites taken out. The tree is johnagold but they very much taste like granny apples.

Omg I read applesauce too! Aren’t we a good study for a psychologist! LOL! Yes, this is the best community - seeing my husband is the only person who knows I had RNY surgery, everyone here is ESSENTIAL to my journey. Thank you!!!
