Abdominal pain 5 days out

Hi all...
I am 5 days post op and I have started having abdominal pain/bloating. Anyone else experience this? Thanks!

Never had that issue. You could contact you surgeon if it continue.

I had pain and bloating but it was from day 1. It gradually got better. To get it after 5 days...the only thing I can think of is gas. It's a bear. I use a heating pad for gas pains and gasx and walking helps it get out.
But agree with nice lady, contact Dr if worsens.

Depending on the type of surgery you had. They pump your abdominal area with gas to blow you up a little so they see where they are going. Sometimes after surgery that gas is still there. Sometimes it will last for days. And it can be painful.
But like Annie said, and it help me , gasx, and moving around as much as you can.

I agree with the others, call the surgeon's office just to be safe.
