I’ve had this bad taste in my mouth for over a week now. It’s soo bad that drinking water or Gatorade zero makes me gag. I brush my teeth and do mouthwash the normal two times a day... old what’s going on
I would call your surgeon and tell them what is going on or your regular pcp. That doesn't sound good. Sounds kind of like covid. Prayers that it isn't covid!!
I’m not sure if anyone else has this problem, but I noticed that there’s a film on my tongue if I don’t scrub it when I brush my teeth. It was not like that before surgery, so I’d have to assume it has something to do with my hydration or thickness of drinks that I’m consuming now that gets stuck on my tongue or something. I get a sour like taste in my mouth when it’s near time to brush. How’s your tongue? (Such a weird question, I know LOL)
There is always a thing film over my teeth and on the roof of my mouth. No matter how many times I brush and gargle.... it’s just an annoying feeling and a nasty uncomfortable taste.
I would say make sure you don't have thrush but sounds a like not enough water and body adjusting to reduced saliva with less food intake. If its that it does go away.
