Figured it out finally

So I have been diagnosed with neuropathy. I called my family and it runs in the family. It just came out now. So now I am taking the meds and trying to move as much as possible. I miss being able to walk. I miss leaving on my own. I miss driving. I miss the simple things. But I am still alive and hopefully losing more weight. Life will always be hard it depends on the will power to push through.

It is in my genetics from my dad's said. It has been showing signs before now but they thought it was something else. My heals felt like a stabbing pain before surgery and after surgery the numbness that spread up my legs and body and muscle weakness and the falling and the burning pain hit.

I'm glad they have figured it out. Is this something that will ever go away? Will losing weight potentially help this at all? At least with a diagnosis you know where to go from here :)

This is something I will have to live with for the rest of my life. Meds can make it manageable but it will never fully go away
I'm sorry to hear that. BUT.... you are a hardworking and determined individual so I know you will not let this stop you. You will have to learn a new normal (again) but I'm sure you will push through to meet the goals you set for yourself. Keep us posted!
