FREE STUFF

It drives me nuts to throw things away. I donate what I can and try to find other people who can use the items. I am now 6 trash bags deep into clothing donations!

So, I have some bariatric "liquid/drinkable" Vitamins that I liked when I tried before surgery but could not stomach after surgery. I am in Baltimore MD, so if you are local I will gladly pass them along to anyone who wants them FOR FREE! If you are not local and are willing to pay the shipping expenses then I will also ship them.

I have single serving packets of the raspberry lemonade. I also have 1 unopened tub of the 4 in 1 chocolate shake mix and 1 OPENED tub. Both pictured below.

If anyone is interested in any of them please let me know, I would hate to throw them away! BOTH WERE APPROVED BY MY BARIATRIC TEAM!

Thank you, but apparently no one wants it. HAHA
I have been trying to give it away for a while now. Posted it on a few support groups, and FB groups. Had one person interested but she didn't want to pay the $9 shipping.
I am not going to pay someone to take it. I already paid for it.

My team gives out free samples of all kinds of vitamins, I was going to see if they could use it for samples since it is unopened. Who knows with COVID though.
It kills me to throw it away, which is why it has been sitting in my cabinet for months.

Are you a member of NextDoor or perhaps have free apps like Buy Nothing or Trash Nothing? All of these are great places to give things away. I had a similar circumstance as you: bought multiple types of drink or chew vitamins, but found them too sweet. I posted them on NextDoor and got Lots of responses. Some people have a hard time swallowing pills and so they need chewable or drinkable versions. Mine didn't go to bariatric patients, but they sure were appreciated by the 2 people I divided them between. :)

Nope. I have never heard of either of those APPS but I will look into them because I am always giving stuff away. I did however find someone to take these vitamins so they did not go in the trash!
Thanks

I can totally relate to not wanting to throw stuff away! This would depend on the state you live in - but where I live in Idaho, you can give that kind of stuff to a thrift store or the food bank. You can also open-carry weapons here, spread COVID as much as you like, and lay out animal traps next to your neighborhood side walk. But you will be prosecuted for attempting to terminate an unwanted pregnancy.

Damn Mormons and their twisted beliefs. (No offense to anyone that may be Mormon!)

Yeah, it is a crazy twisted up world. Buy a weapon of war & slaughter as many people as you can, but God forbid you want to have a choice to continue a pregnancy or not, no matter the circumstance. I've always believed that if MEN could get pregnant, we wouldn't have these arguments about allowing a person choice over their own bodies. Smh

Yay! I'm glad you found someone to take your vitamins!! :)

I give stuff away a lot too. It feels good to re-home instead of adding to the trash piles, right?!! :) I usually use Nextdoor (who I also use if I need a recommendation for a plumber, like I did today), but recently added on the other two. :) Love to see more apps popping up that are focused on helping each other, while also helping the planet. :)
