Hi. I am new to this group. I had my sleeve 4 years ago in August. I am just starting to slip into some bad habits and thought this group might be good to keep me on track.

Hi, I had my sleeve a year before you and some days it is harder to stay on track than other days, and that is ok. One of the tricks I use when I feel that I am slipping into old habits or getting too relaxed with my food choices is to do a bariatric refresh. For 1-2 weeks I go back to the pre surgery diet given to me by my Dr. The first few days are liquids only, then slowing adding back solids, but focusing on high protein, low carb choices. This helps me mentally reset more than anything and curb my snacking. After about 2 weeks I feel more positive about myself because I stuck to the plan but I also feel physically better and my cravings have gone away. The bonus is that I also lose a few pounds, feel recharged and think about food less since my eating was simplified. It is easier to do a bariatric refresh with a friend or support group, but you already know that you can do it on your own because you needed to follow a plan like that pre/post surgery.
