I had the surgery on March 9 2026 am I losing the right amount of weight as of now I lost 22 lbs but my stomach is still big like like if I was 3 month pregnant is that normal
 
Is it normal to feel hungry am on my third week

The excess of calories you ate in order to become obese could not be used for energy, probably because you didn't exercise or walk and probably did a lot of sitting & eating. So they were stored as fat, since your body has a natural response to do that so you won't starve. When you had surgery, fat and tissue were removed as part of the procedure, but the fat stayed because the shift scared your chemistry into "starvaton response," to stay alive.

Just keep eating as your medical team directs and pretty soon starving will turn into burning calories from stored fat. Of course you should also be doing some toning exercises like situps, jumping jacks, squats, aerobics. Right now you have the magical ability to change your shape like women never do unless they're pregnant. Go for it!
