Hi everyone! I have my first appointment April 13th!!! I’m so excited! I have been over weight my entire life! I know this is going to be a challenge but I’m excited to get the process started!!

When I was waiting for my first appointment, I found it really helpful to research as much information as I could online. I also watched videos on YouTube where people share their stories about weight loss surgery. I had a list of questions and felt very well informed.

Glad you found us and good luck on your journey. I had gastric bypass in July 2021 at age 59. I've lost 60lbs so far. This was the best decision health wise of my life, and I would make the same choice again in a heartbeat to do this surgery.

Hello and welcome. It's smart to start finding info and even a support group so soon. It absolutely IS a challenge, but almost 2 years out and my only regret is that I wasn't ready sooner. I could've been feeling this good years ago.
