Hello! I'm brand new having just found this forum tonight. Thank you for having me! I had laparoscopic RYGB on June 5th and spent 1 night in the hospital. My weight on day 1 of the pre-op liquid diet was 252; I'm 5'3". My recovery has been smooth and, overall, I'm feeling well but there is significantly more swelling on my left side than on my right. I also have lingering discomfort on the left side only. The post-op with my surgeon is on Monday, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if it was just a normal part of the healing process?
