After my total gastrectomy surgery with Roux & Y bypass 4 years ago, a string of medical staples still remains in the tiny stomach piece left, connected at one end into the stomach wall and the other end free floating.
I wonder if somebody is out there who also had a medical staples string left in the stomach after a gastrectomy and if it was resected endoscopically.
