Hi, I'm of no help, sorry but this is something I am worried about after surgery too. I will be having a revision done, just waiting to find out when. I hope someone here can give you some advice! Good luck.

Please give yourself some grace. You're only a few days out from surgery, and your body and brain are both adjusting to a huge change.

Surgery changes the size of your stomach, but it doesn't change years of habits, routines, and thoughts about food. Experiencing food noise or head hunger this early doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong or that you're going to mess up.

The fact that you're aware of it and talking about it is a positive thing. Be patient with yourself, focus on following your team's instructions, and take it one day at a time. This is a major adjustment, and you're still in the very beginning stages. You've got a whole community here rooting for you.

Don't apologize! Sometimes just letting someone know they're not alone can be helpful. A lot of people worry about head hunger and food noise before surgery, so you're definitely not the only one with those concerns.

Wishing you the best with your upcoming revision. I hope you get your date soon, and I'm sure you'll learn a lot from the experiences people share here.
