Welcome! Which procedure are you having done? I’m sorry to hear your husband isn’t helping much. When you decided to have the surgery and seek out a surgeon, did you talk to him about it? I ask not because you need his permission or anything, but just to get his perspective on it. This surgery is the biggest life change a lot of us experience-and it’s an awesome opportunity for our health! If someone you love doesn’t understand that you’re doing this for your health and longevity, maybe it’s time they see it from another perspective. Remind them that the healthier you are the longer you’ll live (we all hope), and be there for each other. There are a lot of people on here with great insight.
