Hi, I'm new here. I had a revision to my Gastric Bypass in August of 2021 6 months after my first gastric bypass. They had to redu my surgery so I basically had 2 gastric bypasses. I have had some complications. I an currently having pain when I eat. I have had a couple of bouts of pancreatitis. I have been in the hospital where they wanted to do exploratory surgery. I am currently working with my doctor to see why I am having so much pain been doing lots of test. But I say all of that to say I would do it all over again. Yes I'm having some complications but I know at the end of the day I made the right decision. I now get to see my grandkids grow up. And that makes it all worth it. So don't give up. Give yourself grace and just breathe. It's all worth it.

Welcome, and thanks for sharing your story. I'm sorry you've had so many complications and ongoing pain. I'm glad that despite everything you've been through, you're still able to see the positives and focus on what this surgery has given you.

I hope your doctors are able to get to the bottom of what's causing the pain and that you find some answers soon.

Hi - I had gastric bypass in 2017 and have gained most of the weight back. I asked my dr about revision surgery and he wont do it - he said its dangerous and his office doesn't do it. I'm wondering how your dr did yours? I hear they can go in through the mouth?
