Puree Foods.

Well it's been 10 days since my gastric sleeve. I have advanced to puree foods. Not my favorite, but I am learning. I was able to make chickening dip with lean chicken, cream cheese, chedar cheese, ranch dressing and Franks Red-hot sauce. It tasted great. Not to crazy about the texture, but it satisfied the taste buds. My wife made homemade apple sauce with trivia sweetener and that has been really good. Still drinking my protein shakes and a ton of water. Last April 2021 I weighed 405 and yesterday I weighed in at 355. Down officially 50lbs in a year and I have kept it off. I am down 10lbs since my surgery. I am thankful that I took this step and feeling very good about this decision. Does anyone have any good puree recipes that they can share? Got three weeks of this and I am going to need some variety. Thanks for all your support and hope that I can return the favor. God Bless.

Oh man, I cannot deal with the thought of pureed meat. Absolutely. Cannot. My husband just did puree last week. He ate a slow cooked meatball and smooshed it up with marinara. That was not for me lol I shared mostly what I ate in recipes in the recipe section. I recently shared a few soups that were puree friendly as well.

Hello. I am also in the pureed phase. I started with egg salad. Once you pureed it, it's basically the filling of a deviled egg. Inhave also had chicken salad, refried beans, and yesterday for dinner I had spaghetti pureed withOUT the noodles. So far so good with everything I have tried.

I made salmon salad (Canned salmon, mayo, seasoning and a gherkin pickle) last night and had hummus this afternoon for lunch. Today I made lentils and my daughter asked me to make more so she could add it to her nachos.
brown lentils cooked in water with taco seasoning, salsa and guacamole. Wonderful
