Trying on jackets

Since it's officially September, I pulled out the bin I have of smaller jackets and coats from yesteryear. I have a red leather blazer that fit for about 5 minutes in 2012 when I was on the "good" side of the yo-yo. I tried it on and it fits nicely! Not only that, I put my hands in the pockets to look in the mirror and found $100 in there! Woo-hoo! :)

Oh my God Brenda, you make me want to go try on every jacket in my closet! I'm pretty sure there aren't any hundred dollar bills in there, but I would love to have your experience of finding something smaller that now fits. But I didn't and you did and I suspect you are a clothes horse and that this was just a really big deal for you. You have all my admiration and congratulations. I hope that you'll keep having these little moments that make the day worthwhile.

Thanks Diane. Yes, the jacket fitting was for sure the cake, the cash the icing.

Without surgery, it's doubtful that I would have ever been at a size to try on that jacket again. That money would have been in limbo until I finally donated it and someone else had a lucky day.

I'm sure I was turning my place upside-down when I lost the money years ago (I live paycheck to paycheck) but I don't remember any of that. We lost my aunt/godmother on Friday. I think she led me to find this gift, a little wink from her and the universe. ;)

@Brenda2010 congratulations on the victory on the fit and the find does this mean you will go shopping for something new to wear with this redd leather blazer?

Thanks sunshine! I was looking at shoes online last night. ;)
