Milk ??

Milk was essential for me in all my smoothies. My nutritionist gave me a recipe for Magic Milk which you can find here if you search. Twice as much protein, and I cooked all my cream soups and cereals IN the milk, not using water. As your medical team about this. Post-op nutrition is essential to success.
Thank you so much

I love milk! I use fair life though. It is ultra filtered, so it's higher in protein and that makes it lactose free. Regular milk can be problematic after surgery for some, so start slow. Goodluck.

Thank you so much definitely going to try it out , one thing I know is that everything is been a trial and error … see what works and see what won’t . I feel it might help with getting the extra protein I need

Milk was part of the foods listed in the food book. I did discover that I am lactose intolerant through the process. So now I buy lactose free milk. Works great.

I drank milk EVERY day when I first woke up, started it off with a kick of protein and fluid. I feel out of the routine when I switched to solid foods.
I tried the Fairlife (higher protein )milk but it only lasts about 10 days once you open it and I didn't drink it fast enough so I ended up wasting a lot.

Oh, the not using it fast enough didn't even occur to me!! I make sugar free pudding almost every week so this is never an issue for me. I also use it to make over nite oatmeal, which I eat every morning for breakfast. Add in my coffee addiction and my milk doesn't stand a chance lol
