stalled weight loss???

Hey everybody!!! Hope all is good....I have a question about stalled weight loss. I have read on here that you will hit plateau's but I am only 4 weeks post op as of this coming Thursday. I have lost 26lbs since my surgery date but in the last 9 days I have not lost anything! In fact, I keep going between 330 and 331 everyday. I know I should not be weighing everyday but this is kinda driving me nuts :p Could it be because I am not ever going to loss more than this??? :(
I go to have the G-tube finally taken out tomorrow...if I'm lucky that will take off about 30 pounds of stress lol :D Any thoughts or idea's are VERY appreciated.

Hi, don't worry you are doing just fine, I too felt like that, but 26 lbs is great, not something we could have done before WLS. Your body is healing and things are changing in your body, your losing fat and gaining muscle, so much going on in there. Just keep doing what your doing folow your meal plan that was set out for you, chew your food up real good, drink water but remember thje 45 min befaor and 1 hour after meals so the food doesn't wash through you. And please don't weigh every day it gets discouraging:p, I know I did it when I plateaud:rolleyes: LOL. Hang in there most of us have hit wall and we all got around it. Tom

You are way too early out from surgery to have hit a plateau. Like Tom said things are happening after surgery and sometimes the weight loss stops for a short while. It's critical that you follow your meal plans and make sure you are getting ALL of your protein in every day. This will help promote weight loss.

Thank you both for the encouragement!! I went to the doctor yesterday and he said the same thing that Tom did...3 surgeries and I my expectations are just higher than they should be I guess lol Anyway, thanks again I feel MUCH better now!
